How to help the survivors of Supertyphoon Yolanda

It’s been more than a week since Supertyphoon Yolanda (International name:  Haiyan) devastated the Philippines leaving 5,240 dead (as of posting date; Source:  NDRRMC) and scores injured.  Majority of those who survived were left homeless and starving.

As the Filipino nation struggle to rise from this massive devastation, here are different ways you can help:

TRANSPORTATION FOR SURVIVORS

Oplan Hatid / Operation Drop Off
The goal is to reunite the survivors with their relatives in Manila or in the neighboring provinces. Unfortunately, due to lack of resources, there is not official transportation provided for them. This is where your help would come in.
