“THANK YOU” from the Philippines

Just 3 months ago the Philippines was all over the news because of the immense devastation that it went through being badly hit by Super Typhoon Haiyan. The destruction was unimaginable, towns were wiped out, and people with almost nothing, were left with even more than nothing.

If not for the massive outpour of generosity from everywhere in the world, from the immediate relief efforts in the form of food, clothing, and medicine; the initiatives of people to raise funds, and the continued efforts of people, charity groups and big corporations to help in the rehabilitation efforts, the Philippines, as a nation, would be hard pressed finding its way back on its feet.

Everyone from the Philippines greatly appreciate the extension of kindness, in all its forms – material and monetary donations, time and service, as well as positive thoughts and prayers. We are sending out this big show of THANKS TO YOU AND THE REST OF THE WORLD!

Maraming Salamat Po!

We at worldurbanista.com are one with the Philippine Department of Tourism in their campaign to spread gratitude to the rest of the world. Leave us a comment by simply saying “Thank you” or to share your experience on how the world has helped you and your loved ones survive through the aftermath of the storm.
